Last night FSC gave our “Graduating” coaches a huge thank-you from the club. Erik Johnson and Mark Milewski both coached their kids (Erik – Grace and Mark – Owen) from u8 to u18 and both are great examples of what the Freedom model of coaching looks like. Erik achieved a top-10 gotsoccer ranking and will be sending 4 players to play soccer in college, one to play lax, and one to swim. This is what Freedom Soccer Club is all about and exemplifies the FSC way.

FSC Director of Coaching Brian Boussey presents Erik Johnson (L) and Mark Milewski (R) with a gift of thanks.

FSC President Dave McCormick presents Erik Johnson (back) and Mark Milewski (front) with a gift of thanks.

Freedom Soccer Club would like to thank B2003 Arsenal (HC – Mark Milewski) for all of the time and work they put in during their time with FSC.
The three seniors capped off their soccer careers in Eldersburg with an undefeated 8-0 high school record at Liberty High School where all three were named captains. As is the norm in our club, the young men excelled in the classroom as well as on the field.
The club is proud of your accomplishments and wishes you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours.
Owen Milewski – University of Rochester
Ben Hiebler – Virginia Tech
Chimwemwe Chinkuyu – Princeton University

Another non-soccer post from Freedom Soccer Club?! Yup. As much as we love our soccer-first and soccer only players, we are proud that we can also support dual sport athletes who play multiple sports at a high level.
Maddy McDaniels was an original member of FSC Blast – G2003.
She played with Blast from u8 to u18 and was an important member of Liberty High School’s girls soccer team, all while also swimming competitively.
FSC would like to congratulate her on her commitment to Case Western Reserve University where she will continue her swimming career.

Hello Freedom Soccer Club families and perspective families.

Tryouts are officially underway and we are looking forward to continuing to grow the club and support as many players as we can in support of FSC’s mission.  Good luck to all the players trying out this and we’ll see you on the pitch!
