FSC Leagues

Freedom Soccer Club (FSC) teams compete in numerous leagues throughout the county, state, and region. Each of these leagues offers a different competition level and it is the goal of FSC to place players on teams playing at the highest competition level that their skills can support. While all FSC teams play hard to win, the ultimate goal is player development.

The following is a brief description of the different leagues in which FSC teams participate.

WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer League) - The most competitive league for girls in the area. Regarded by many as one of the top five leagues in the country. Includes teams from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Age groups from U-9 through U-19. Requires U-13 and younger teams to play in both fall and spring seasons.

 NCSL (National Capitol Soccer League) – The most competitive league for boys in the area. Regarded by many as one of the top five leagues in the country.  Includes teams from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.  Age groups from U-9 through U-18.  Requires U-14 and younger teams to play in both fall and spring seasons. 

 BBSL (Baltimore Beltway Soccer League) - A competitive league for both boys and girls teams. Teams are primarily from the Baltimore metropolitan area (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties), though can include teams from Southern and Western Maryland. Age groups from U9 through U19. Offers both fall and spring seasons.

CCYSL (Carroll County Youth Soccer League).  Formerly known as the Carroll County Soccer League, this transitional league is currently targeting boys and girls recreational teams from Carroll, Baltimore and Frederick Counties. Age groups include U10, U12 and U14. Offers a fall league and will offer a spring season if there is sufficient interest. 

CMSSL (Central Maryland Short-Sided League) - A competitive league for both boys and girls teams. Most teams in this league are from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties. Age groups from U8 through U11. Fall and spring seasons offered.
